                                    Public Hearing Notice - Planning Board

 

The Town of Richfield Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Richfield Town Hall, 18 East James Street, Richfield Springs, at 7:00 pm to hear all interested parties for or against the subdivision application of Curtin Dairy LP, property located at 1545 Co Hwy 25, SBL# 24.00-1-19.00, owner on file being Curtin Dairy LP.

 

     

                       PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - Town Board

 

The Town Board of the Town of Richfield will hold a public hearing on proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2025, a Local Law to Override the Tax Levy Limit for the fiscal year 2026. Anyone wishing to review the Local Law may review it at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours, email the Clerk at Richfield-clerk@stny.rr.com. The public hearing will be held on September 15, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Richfield Town Hall, 18 East James Street, Richfield Springs, NY 13439.

NY Forward Strategic Investment Plan

                                   Local Planning Committee (LPC)

The LPC is co-chaired by Larry Frigault, Town of Richfield Supervisor and Carolyn A. Lewis, Director of Legislative Affairs & Grants for Bassett Medical Center and Mohawk Valley REDC Board Member and consists of 11 other members representing a diverse cross section of the Richfield community.

The Town of Richfield was selected by the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) to receive a $4.5 million award from New York State Governor Kathy Hochul through the NY Forward (NYF) program. Investment from this program will allow Richfield to develop a Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and implement key catalytic projects to advance the community’s vision for downtown improvements.

NY Forward is led by the Department of State, in close partnership with Empire State Development, NYS Homes and Community Renewal, and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. For more information, please visit https://www.ny.gov/programs/ny-forward.
