NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE YEAR 2025
(Pursuant to Section 506 & 526(1)- Real Property Tax Law)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor for the Town of Richfield, COUNTY OF Otsego, STATE OF NEW YORK, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year. The Tentative Assessment Roll is available for inspection until June 5, 2025.

The Assessor, or someone designated by the Assessor, will be with the Tentative Assessment Roll at 18 E. James St. Richfield Springs NY on the following dates and times:

May 6, 2025, between the hours of 11:30am – 1:30pm, also on

May 13, 2025, between the hours of 11:30am – 1:30pm, also on

May 20, 2025, between the hours of 11:30am – 1:30pm, also on

May 27, 2025, between the hours of 11:30am – 1:30pm also on

June 3, 2025, between the hours of 11:30am – 1:30pm

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the Board of Assessment Review will meet on June 5, 2025, at 18 E. James St. Richfield Springs NY, during the hours of 4PM- 8PM, for the purpose of hearing and examining all complaints relative to assessments. A publication titles “How to File A Complaint on Your Assessment” and complaint forms are available from the Assessor. Complaint Forms must be signed and filed before hearing is heard.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York, the undersigned will receive sealed bids at the office of the Town Clerk for Asphalt Concrete Paving.  Proposals must be submitted on the official bid form only.

Formal bids and specifications may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office by emailing Clerk@RichfieldNY.com or by calling 315-858-8809.

The Town Clerk will receive bids until 12:00 PM on May 19, 2025.  Bids will be opened and read aloud during the regular Town Board meeting, 18 East James Street, Richfield Springs, New York, beginning at 7:00 PM on May 19, 2025.

The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Notice of Public Hearing – May 12

 

LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town of Richfield Planning Board will hold a public hearing for the Special Use Permit Application submitted by Shannon Hugick, property located at 43 Langdon Ave, Richfield Springs SBL #25.09-1-3.00 & 25.05-2-77.00. The property owner on record is Shannon Hugick.  The meeting will be held on May 12, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Richfield Town Hall, 18 E. James Street Richfield Springs. At that time the board will hear all parties for or against this application.

 
 

NY Forward Strategic Investment Plan

                                   Local Planning Committee (LPC)

The LPC is co-chaired by Larry Frigault, Town of Richfield Supervisor and Carolyn A. Lewis, Director of Legislative Affairs & Grants for Bassett Medical Center and Mohawk Valley REDC Board Member and consists of 11 other members representing a diverse cross section of the Richfield community.

The Town of Richfield was selected by the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) to receive a $4.5 million award from New York State Governor Kathy Hochul through the NY Forward (NYF) program. Investment from this program will allow Richfield to develop a Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and implement key catalytic projects to advance the community’s vision for downtown improvements.
