PLANNING BOARD MEETING

The regular meeting of the Town of Richfield Planning Board was held on Monday, January 13, 2014, at the Richfield Town Hall.  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Urtz.  Other board members in attendance were Andela, Sylvester, Woodrow, and alternate Harris.

Motion to approve minutes of the November 11, 2013 meeting by Sylvester, second by Andela.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – yes, Urtz – yes, Woodrow - abstain.  Motion to approve minutes of the December 9, 2013 meeting by Woodrow, second by Andela.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – abstain, Woodrow – yes, Urtz – yes.

Jacob Robertson spoke to the board about a proposed lot line adjustment involving SBL# 24.00-1-6.00(Robertson) and SBL# 13.00-1-46.01(Chris Boss).  He presented the board with a survey map to show the proposed change.  8.45 acres will come from SBL# 13.00-1-46.01, a lot that has 98.81 acres and be added to SBL# 24.00-1-6.00. 

Motion by Andela, second by Woodrow to approve a lot line adjustment as follows:  8.45 acres will transfer from SBL# 13.00-1-46.01(Boss) to SBL# 24.00-1-6.00 (Robertson).  No new lot or non-conforming lot will be created.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – yes, Woodrow – yes, Urtz – yes.

The individual interested in possibly opening a can and bottle recycling center did not return this month.  The board is concerned that no litter or debris be allowed to accumulate at the site and possibly create a health problem.  If a special use application is submitted the board may set conditions that need to be maintained.

Motion to adjourn at 7:31 PM by Andela, second by Woodrow.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – yes, Woodrow – yes, Urtz – yes.
