The regular meeting of the Town of Richfield Planning Board was held on Monday, February 10, 2014, at the Richfield Town Hall. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM by chairman Urtz. Other board members in attendance were Andela, Sullivan, Woodrow, and alternate Harris. Board member Sylvester was absent.
Jackie Hinckley asked the board for a lot line adjustment between SBL# 12.00-1-56.00 (Hinckley) and SBL# 23.00-1-4.00 (Seamon). 20 acres from the Hinckley parcel will be joined to the Seamon parcel. No new or non-conforming parcel will be created. After reviewing the survey map, the board agreed that the survey needs to be adjusted so that there is a fifty foot setback from an existing structure to the new property line.
Motion b Andela, second by Woodrow to approve a lot line adjustment between Seamon (32.00-1-4.00) to include the newly surveyed parcel previously owned by John Hinckley (12.00-1-56.00). The remaining 1.267 acres of SBL# 12.00-1-56.00 joining county Highway 25 meet all the setbacks covered in Section 4.1 of the Town of Richfield Land Use and Building Management Ordinance. This approval is contingent on the remaining Hinckley parcel meeting the fifty foot rear set back. Andela – yes, Sullivan – yes, Woodrow – yes, Urtz – yes.
We have heard nothing more from the individual who was interested in a special use permit for a can/bottle return business.
