TOWN BOARD MEETING

A special meeting of the Richfield Town Board was held on Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Richfield Town Hall. Present were Supervisor Enjem, board members Bond, Seamon, and Snyder.

The Supervisor opened the public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2014 budget at 6:00 PM.  There were no comments from the public or further discussion by board members.  Motion by Enjem, second by Seamon to close the public hearing at 6:06 PM.  Bond – yes, Seamon – yes, Snyder – yes, Enjem – yes.

Motion by Enjem, second by Snyder to make the 2014 Preliminary Budget the 2014 Final Budget.  Bond – yes, Seamon – yes, Snyder – yes, Enjem – yes.

The town received five letters of interest/resumes for the advertised position of town justice, appointee to serve one year.  The position will then be filled in the November, 2014, election.  Three of the applicants were from outside the Town of Richfield, two from town residents.  The board will select from the two resident applications.  A special meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 6:00 PM at the Richfield Town Hall to interview the two candidates.

Motion to adjourn at 6:29 PM by Enjem, second by Seamon.  Bond – yes, Seam0on – yes, Snyder – yes, Enjem – yes.
