PLANNING BOARD MEETING

The regular meeting of the Town of Richfield Planning Board was held on Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Richfield Town Hall. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Urtz. Other board members in attendance were Szeflinski, Sylvester, Woodrow, and alternate Harris. Board member Andela arrived after the meeting was in session.
Motion by Sylvester, second by Harris to approve minutes of the December 10, 2012 meeting. Harris – yes, Sylvester – yes – Woodrow – yes, Szeflinski – abstain, Urtz – yes.
Ronald Auger, acting as the agent for the family of Alice Armstrong addressed the board on a proposed subdivision of five acres to be taken from SBL# 3.00-1-15.01. The five acres contain a residence with existing water and septic. The town does not need to file a 239-m with the county per our agreement signed with the county last year. A public hearing on the proposed subdivision will be held on February11, 2013, at 7:00 PM at the Richfield Town Hall.
The board is waiting for information from the attorney to it can continue work on creating a minor subdivision as part of the subdivision regulations. The board will continue to work on getting all the ordinances scanned and converted to a format that will allow us to make changes in the documents when necessary.
Paul Szeflinski brought a map to show board members a proposed lot line adjustment between his property and that of a parcel owned by Ron Sadlon. No new parcel or non-conforming parcel will be created. Motion by Andela, second by Woodrow to approve the lot line adjustment between Szeflinski and Sadlon. Andela – yes, Harris – yes, Sylvester – yes, Szeflinski – abstain, Woodrow – yes, Urtz – yes. The vote of alternate Harris was stricken from the record since now all five regular members were present to vote. Szeflinski will provide the clerk with the tax map numbers of the two parcels involved.
Dan Sullivan - will present new studies on wind turbines to the board next month.
Motion to adjourn at 7:43 PM by Szeflinski, second by Woodrow, unanimous.
