PLANNING BOARD MEETING

The regular meeting of the Town of Richfield Planning Board was held on Monday, April 8, 2013, at the Richfield Town Hall. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Urtz.  Other board members in attendance were Andela, Sylvester, and alternate Harris.  Board members Szeflinski and Woodrow were absent.

A public hearing was held for a subdivision application submitted by Thomas Burke for a one parcel subdivision for SBL# 11.00-1-6.01, property located on County Highway 25/South Road. The placement of a new driveway has been approved by Highway Superintendent Kress.  All the setbacks can be met for the placement of a new residence.  There were no comments from the public.  Motion to close the public hearing and begin the regular meeting at 7:06 PM by Sylvester, second by Andela.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – yes, Harris – yes, Urtz – yes.

Motion to approve minutes of March 11, 2013, by Harris, second by Sylvester.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – yes, Harris – yes,  Urtz – yes.

The board reviewed Part II of the short form SEQR for the Burke application.  The board  agreed to “no” to all questions A – E.  Motion by Andela, second by Harris that the board declare a negative declaration, the proposed action will not result in any significant adverse environmental impact.  Andela – yes, Sylvester – yes, Harris – yes, Urtz – yes.  Mr. Burke will need to provide a Mylar map for Chairman Urtz to sign before it can be filed with the county.

Privilege of the Floor:

Larry Frigault – Litchfield project has been expanded by Ridgeline so that it will go to the state.
